A Sovereign Individual tool

I'm beginning to believe LinkedIn is a tool for sovereign individuals (highly talented individuals whom companies and countries need more than the reverse).

It's just amazing the number of important people that you can reach through LinkedIn. The challenge, of course, is to have the diplomatic skills to approach them.

It is always good to try to be of use to these VIPs, even if many of them by nature would try to help other people if they can (probably because they realize that on their way up, somebody once helped them too).
